Notices
- MUST back up fully the MetaFox site before importing data.
- Since the data importation may take many minutes to complete, please increase the PHP parameter of the server timeout (most servers have a default PHP max_execution_time of 30 seconds).
- While data is being exported, DO NOT refresh or close the browser tab.

- If a group does not have a category on the SocialEngine site, after importing, its category on MetaFox will be the first category.
- The system does not import notifications.
- The system will not import duplicate users. That means if user A already exists on both the SocialEngine site and the MetaFox site, the system only imports data of A from the SocialEngine site to the MetaFox site.
Installation Guide
This guide aims to assist you in installing apps in your MetaFox site's AdminCP. Ensure that you have administrative access to the MetaFox site.
- Let's log into AdminCP > Apps > Purchased
- Now, click on the app you want to install.
- Click on the Install/Reinstall button to start installing the app. Wait for the installation to complete.
- During the installation, the site will send a build request to the MetaFox Build service to build a front-end web with the new app. Thus, the app may take a few minutes to display on the front end.
- After installing successfully, you can reload the AdminCP and start configuring the app as needed by going to AdminCP > App Settings, searching for the newly installed app, and accessing its settings.
